Wearin' of the Green
Aventurine Hearts |
So now that
you know the history of green let’s talk about the healing properties of the
color. Green is sometimes referred to being a transitory color as it is a blend
of yellow and blue. Yellow representing the color of energy while blue is the
color of tranquility. Green
gemstones are
believed to help create balance, promote change or growth, increase feelings of
hopefulness and optimism.
Example of green Gemstones are many. From a dark green Chrome
Diopside to the yellow-green of Peridot, each takes on some of the emotional
meanings of the color green.
Jade For The Soul |
Jade is a stone that almost everyone has heard of and owned at one time or another. It is considered to be lucky and can attract abundance. Physically, jade is used to positive effect when treating bladder and kidney problems.
Jade for Protection. |
Green Tourmaline is the crystal for the heart. The energy it
channels through the body can help stimulate proper cellular functions and is
an excellent aid in treating cancer. Tourmaline is the strongest stone for the
heart.
I have mistaken Aventurine for Jade and do recommend that you
obtain from a reputable dealer. Aventurine is primarily the stone of prosperity.
It will not attract abundance as you passively wait for it to happen but, it
inspires you to be the best you can be. Health wise Aventurine promotes the
function of the thymus. It is used to lower cholesterol and stimulate a healthy
metabolism.
Chromium Diopside in Silver Plate |
Chrome Diopside happens to be my favorite stone. The rich green color reminds me of old emeralds that have not been enhanced. Connected to the heart chakra, it can help balance the hormones in the body and help strengthen the function of the lungs.
These are just a few of the many green stones. If you have
any questions on a particular stone please ask me, by commenting below or
through my Etsy Store.
