Happy New Year

Tuesday, February 1st, marks the start of the Luna New Year. With the new year comes the animal that will rule and this year it’s the Tiger.

So it only seems right to talk about the much loved Tiger Eye Stone. This is a beautiful stone with a luminescent that creates a color shift as light passes over it like the sparkle in cat’s eyes. Geologists call the phenomena chatoyancy is and it is only found in a limited number of stones. 

Here is a sampling for the stones I am planning to wrap in honor of the Year's Animal. They will appear throughout the year so keep an eye on my Etsy Store.

As a healing crystal the Tiger Eye takes on the strength of a tiger, protecting against negativity, creating courage, dispelling fear and anxieties. Physically it is effective for people who have been experiencing symptoms of hormonal imbalance such as weight gain, fatigue and muscle pain. It is also considered a good luck charm that will attract abundance in the form of money and good business dealings.

Stones related to the tiger eye are Ox Eye Stone which is sometimes call a
Red Tiger Eye. Ox eye will help you get unstuck if you feel your life is going nowhere. Hawk Eye which is a Blue Tiger Eye is a stone for the perseverance that will fill you aura with confidence. Iron-Tiger Eye is a combination of the Gold Brown Tiger, Red Jasper and Hematite. This trio gives you courage, strength and stamina to do what has to be done to achieve your dreams.

Sorry that I do not have any new Tiger Eye Pieces now. Will have some soon. Meanwhile, here is my latest piece on Picasso Marble.
